Our Story

When we started dating, Alyssa had just graduated college at Western Michigan for Interior Design and James had just remodeled the home he was living in. Naturally, with us being on both ends of the construction business, we had great chemistry helping each other on projects we were working on.  Shortly after, we fell in love and bought a house together. We started more remodeling and realized we had a knack for this kind of thing. After some time, we got married and had three beautiful little girls Myah, Maeve, and Margot. We decided during this stretch to take the leap of faith and start a business together. James became a licensed builder and along with Alyssa's design expertise, we started Gillespie Home Services!
